London Ambulance Service take on Metropolitan Police in Charity Rugby Match

Tuesday 11th April 2017

Following the terrorist incident in Westminster, the London Ambulance Service and Metropolitan Police are coming together for a rugby match to show solidarity and raise money for victims and their families, as well as London’s Air Ambulance.

The London Ambulance rugby team will take on the Met Police SC019 team at Blackheath Rugby Club on 26th April at 3pm. After seeing the work of our advanced trauma team on the day of the incident, both organisations decided that a third of the money raised at the event will go to our charity.

This will mean a lot to one player in particular. Michael Casizzi, one of our very own Emeritus paramedics, will be there on the day playing for the London Ambulance Service.

If you would like to show your support, you can get your ticket (£10 per person) here.
