As part of a Corporate Partnership with London’s Air Ambulance your employees can also take advantage of a variety of volunteering opportunities on behalf of the charity.

We offer a range of openings for staff, such as supporting our team at community events, providing professional and administrative help in our charity office, fundraising in the London community or putting on your own challenge event. We welcome all skills levels so we can accommodate those who want to do something fun with a group of work colleagues or those who have particular skills that we could benefit from.

Volunteering with us can allow your staff to directly contribute towards our work and can be a fun way for them to take part in something away from their usual working environment. It's also a very cost-effective way for your employees to learn new or enhanced skills, or to be stretched in ways not possible within their own organisation. Volunteering can be excellent for improving employee engagement levels and staff morale, which is proven to enhance performance back in the workplace. Volunteering can bring your Corporate Social Responsibility initiative to life, allows employees to feel and integral part of your company's charity partnership.

Wells Fargo Volunteers Raise £1,400 at Station collection

A team of 14 volunteers, including Jim Johnston, EMEA Regional President, from Wells Fargo took part in a fundraising collection for London's Air Ambulance at Fenchurch Street Station, raising £1,400 in just one day.

With an early start to catch the City commuters travelling through the station, the team enthusiastically embraced the challenge. As a new corporate supporter of London's Air Ambulance, the staff from Wells Fargo were keen to take part in a collection at their local station to increase not only donations to the charity, but also raise awareness about London's Air Ambulance.

“I’m so pleased I could help and I thoroughly enjoyed it to be honest. I didn't feel awkward collecting. I think if you greet people with a big smile and good morning it certainly helps. Also a big thank you if they donate!”  Sue Wise, Compliance Consultant/AVP

Wells Fargo have recently named London’s Air Ambulance as their Charity of the Year. During the partnership, staff are actively encouraged to volunteer and take part in fundraising activities. Staff have already risen to the challenge by taking part in two dress down days and an office bake off. Combined with the Fenchurch Street collection, they have already raised an additional £2,600.

“I expected a train station collection to be a kind of difficult experience, but actually because London’s Air Ambulance is such a good cause it was really easy!”Jim Johnston, EMEA Regional President

Thank you to everyone that took part!
