Remembering London's Air Ambulance in your Will
As a charity, we rely heavily on the generosity of our valued supporters. By leaving us a gift in your Will, you can help us save lives, as well as helping future generations.
You will, of course, want to ensure that your loves ones are taken care of in your Will. After you have provided for them, please consider leaving a gift to London's Air Ambulance.

Help writing your Will
A Will is one of the most important documents you will ever write. It is the only way of securing the future of the people and causes you care about. It also empowers you by giving you the choice to decide what will happen when you are gone.
People often put off the task of making their Will as they think it may be too costly or they just don't know where to start.
To help our supporters through the often daunting process of writing a WIll, we are working with the Goodwill Partnership, the largest distributor of home-visit, solicitor-provided, Wills in England and Wales.
They offer a reduced Charity rate of £98 + VAT for a single Will and £96 + VAT for a second Will for a partner or spouse. It's great value for money, with a lowest price guarantee.
It is a face-to-face service, in the comfort of your own home. The process is very simple; there are no visits to a solicitor required. You'll be visited at home by a trained professional, at a time that suits you, to document your wishes. They will then pass your instructions to the panel of solicitors, who will provide your Will. The Goodwill Partnership only uses solicitors who are Law Society of England and Wales members.
If you would like to know more or to arrange an appointment click here , call 0844 669 6148 or text GOODWILL15 to 60777.
There is no obligation to leave London's Air Ambulance a gift in your Will when using this service but we hope that, once your loved ones have been remembered, you will be inspired to support our work in this special way.

CREATING A NEW WILL
Your solicitor will be able to advise you on making a new Will, and ensure that your wishes are honoured. You should also appoint an executor - someone who will have the responsibility for administering your estate.
UPDATING AN EXISTING WILL
People are often hesitant to change their Will as they assume it will be difficult - it is in fact a simple, straightforward process. You are able to update your Will as often as you like, whenever you chose.
If you already have a Will, you can simply add a codicil. Do make sure that you get a solicitor to help you, to ensure that your wishes are carried out exactly as you intended.
Please include our full name: ‘London’s Air Ambulance, Registered Charity Number in England Wales (801013)'
Please let us know about your gift so we can thank you and keep you up-to-date with our vital work; work which, in years to come, you will be part of through your legacy.
Leaving a gift in your Will
There are several types of gifts that you can include in your Will.
This is the remainder of your estate after expenses and other gifts have been paid. This type of gift is not affected by inflation.
This is a specific amount of money.
This is a particular item or items, such as stocks and shares, the proceeds of a life insurance policy, jewellery or works of art.
Your solicitor will be able to explain different types of gifts in more detail and discuss the most appropriate option for you.
In the UK, an estate worth more than £325,000 will have Inheritance Tax deducted at a rate of 40% of any amount above £325,000 which is paid to the Government (set until 5 April 2016). However, if you are leaving a gift to London's Air Ambulance this may lower the Inheritance Tax payable. Recent changes to the law could mean that giving to charity benefits your estate as a whole - please contact HMRC for the latest information relating to this.
