The Support of Trusts and Foundations
The support of Trusts and Foundations is vital for us to continue saving lives and to further develop our world-leading service. We are extremely grateful to the charitable trusts and foundations that currently support us. A full list of our Trust and Foundation partners is available here.
We need to establish new partnerships with trusts and foundations to maintain and enhance our life-saving charity. Could your organisation help us? Donations and grants can be awarded to support our core services; one of our innovative health programmes; for life-saving medical equipment; for essential kit or for ground-breaking educational outreach projects.
Treating patients who have suffered serious traumatic injury is at the heart of what we do. Your support is vital to us and enables patients to receive world-leading treatment when they are most in need and suffering life-threatening injuries.
Thanks to the generous contributions to the charity from the people and organisations of the Capital, London's Air Ambulance's second helicopter is now operational In London. The largest pledge to the 'Your London, Your Helicopter' campaign was from the London Freemasons, who promised £2 million, of which over £1.5 million has been donated so far. Trusts can also fund specific projects or award capital grants. For example, you could support our Institute for Pre-Hospital Care that will drive excellence in pre-hospital treatment, research and innovation; or our campaign for a 2nd helicopter, addressing the urgent need of being the only major capital city that relies on just 1 emergency medical helicopter.
Our team will work closely with you to understand your interests and funding priorities and how best to maximize the impact of your support. We will keep you updated about the essential work that you are funding including visits to the helipad to meet our doctors, paramedics, pilots and fire crew.
