1 Year of support from The London Helicopter
Thursday 17th November 2016
We are pleased to celebrate the first anniversary of support from The London Helicopter.
Thanks to the generosity of The London Helicopter customers over the past 12 months, together with a matched donation from the company, their support has enabled a contribution towards provision of equipment for the flight crew and fuel for several London’s Air Ambulance missions. It has helped us to deliver an advanced trauma team to the 10million people that live and work in London, 24/7, every day of the year.
Interim CEO for London’s Air Ambulance, Charles Newitt said:
“London’s Air Ambulance is hugely grateful for the support given to our charity by The London Helicopter. It is great to know that whilst people are enjoying the sights of London from above, they are also contributing to our helicopter that continues to save lives across London.”
When making a booking online at www.thelondonhelicopter.com customers can opt to make a donation to London’s Air Ambulance, for a value of their choice. The London Helicopter has pledged to match all of their customer’s donations to further enhance the impact.
In choosing to support London’s Air Ambulance, Chris Mann, Managing Director of The London Helicopter, says;
"For the love of Life, London and Helicopters... in my opinion there's no better charity to support where all three are aligned in saving lives. Supporting London's airborne life savers is the perfect fit for The London Helicopter. We would like to thank our customers past, present and future for their generosity in backing our vision to support London’s Air Ambulance”
The London Helicopter is the only helicopter tour company to fly over the capital from a central London location. The company is the UK’s first helicopter sightseeing service that gives people the freedom to book, pay and check-in online. The London Helicopter is a privately owned and operated company. All flights are operated by London Helicopter Charters Ltd. (AOC GB 2441), who work under the strict regulations set out by the UK’s Civil Aviation Authority.
