Christmas Carol Concert raises almost £8000

Monday 19th December 2016

Our 2016 Christmas Carol Concert was the perfect start to the festive season. Held at the beautiful St Andrew Holborn Church in the heart of the City, the audience gathered to sing traditional carols, hear the nativity story and listen to the incredible Rock Choir.

Over 200 people gathered in the church, helping to raise just shy of £8000 for our charity.

Readers included Annie, whose dad was treated by our advanced trauma team in 2014, pilot Dave Rolfe, volunteer Carol Seet, and Adrian Jewitt from Leigh Day, one of our corporate supporters and who supported the service.

It was great to have so many volunteers there too to help us welcome guests and distribute mince pies. We rely so much on our supporters who give their time for free and we are truly thankful for them all.

Speaking after the event Interim CEO Charles Newitt said;

"Our Carol Concert is always a highlight of the year, raising money for our charity whilst celebrating the meaning of Christmas.  It is an opportunity to gather together and give thanks for all the support we have received through 2016.  The almost £8000 raised will go towards continuing to deliver our advanced trauma team for all those who live, work, visit and travel within London.  I would like to express my thanks to all those who made the evening possible, and helped make it such a success"
