London's Air Ambulance medics have won a Pride of Britain Award for saving the life of a cyclist who was dying at the roadside after being run over by a lorry.

Boxing chiefs have called for boxers to be evaulated by brain scanners which are currently being trialled by London's Air Ambulance. The scanners detect for potentially life-threatening head injuries pre-hospital, allowing for earlier and more accurate diagnosis of potentially life-threatening injuries.
