Dan joined the London Ambulance Service (LAS) in 2015. He completed his initial training in Southwark and received qualifications from the Institute of Health Care Development while posted to Forest Hill Ambulance Station in South East London.
Dan later qualified as a solo responder in a fast response vehicle and as a clinical practice educator to mentor trainee emergency crews. He developed a particular interest in the pre-hospital recognition and management of Sepsis.
Prior to joining LAS, Dan served in a number of roles in the Civil Service and in HM Forces Reserves. He was mobilised as part of the UK based security operation at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
