Job Purpose

We are seeking a Supporter Care Coordinator to be responsible for providing our Individual Giving supporters excellent donor care when they donate to London’s Air Ambulance. Achieving substantial growth in the number of individuals who support London’s Air Ambulance is fundamental to our development objectives. To this end, we have invested in growing our successful and long-standing Lottery programme, which has approximately 56,000 weekly players, and our relatively new Regular Giving programme, which has approximately 18,000 monthly donors.

The post holder will be first of contact for supporters and will be responsible for recording all communication with them on ThankQ our CRM database. They will ensure that donors are thanked in a timely way and in line with our core values. The successful candidate will also be responsible for supporting accurate and timely data entry for all Individual Giving income (including lottery and raffle payments), as well as other administrative duties essential to meeting Individual Giving targets. Reporting to the Supporter Care Officer, the post holder will also work closely with the Data team to maintain efficient administrative systems to enable us to increase public support.


London’s Air Ambulance is the charity that delivers an advanced trauma team to critically injured people in London. The service provides pre-hospital medical care at the scene of the incident and serves the 10 million people who live, work and travel within the M25.

Based at The Royal London Hospital and founded in 1989, the service operates 24/7, with the helicopter running in daylight hours and rapid response cars taking over at night.

The team, which at all times includes an advanced trauma doctor and paramedic, perform advanced medical interventions, normally only found in the hospital Emergency Department, in time critical, life threatening situations. Missions commonly involve serious road traffic collisions, falls from height, industrial accidents, assaults and injuries on the rail network.
