We are lucky to have several nationwide organisations supporting us as their Charity of the Year within the community via their high street branches including Sainsburys, Asda, Waitrose, Wilkos and HSBC.

We attend the launch of our Charity of the Year partnerships, along with a member of our operational crew so that we can tell staff about our life-saving work and inspire them to fundraise for us.

Staff participation and involvement is key to a successful partnership. They take part in challenge events - like the London 10k, get involved with bucket collections, second hand stalls, cake sales and fun days. We’re incredibly grateful to all our community Charity of the Year partners, their help is invaluable to our work.

Waitrose

59 Waitrose Partners raised £9,600 at the British 10k run in London on Sunday 12 July 2015. The group was made up of people from branches across London, with a range of running experience; from seasoned marathon runners to first-time racers.  London's Air Ambulance was chosen as Charity of the Year 2015/16. "It was so good to give back to the community for such a great cause. I am so happy to be able to bring smiles to people's faces by supporting London's Air Ambulance to save lives" says Canary Wharf Customer Service Partner Georgina Boakye. As well as raising a fantastic amount for us, there was a great buzz when one of the Partners set a time of 38 minutes, coming 49th out of around 25,000 competitors.

We recently received a cheque for £540 from Waitrose Finchley  Community Matters. A £1000 donation pot was split between three local charities, chosen by staff and customers.

We are incredibly grateful for all the support we receive from our Community Partners.
