Street party

On Sunday 19th of July, Southwark Park Road, Bermondsey, was filled with local residents for a Rock n Roll street party in aid of London’s Air Ambulance. Raising over £14,000 in total including a donation from Costain. Pub landlady Julie O’Sullivan organised the event to support our ‘Your London, Your Helicopter’ campaign for a second helicopter.

Now in its second year, the family event featured live music from tribute acts including Elvis, Roy Orbison and Buddy Holly. There was also a raffle, karaoke, craft stalls and a bouncy castle giving something for all ages to enjoy.

Pancake race

We hold an annual pancake race in aid of London's Air Ambulance, where teams of four compete to be the fastest to complete the relay. It’s a fun event where teams can dress up and bring along friends and colleagues to cheer them on. Last year’s event raised a fantastic £2000.

24 hour rowathon

Barts and the London Boat Club held a 24hour Rowathon between St Pauls and Millennium Bridge. With the help of our mascot they completed the challenge, raising both awareness of our work and £3268.06 towards our life-saving charity.

In memory of a loved one

The Verrier Family sadly lost their son George. Since his tragic death the family have been raising funds for London's Air Ambulance in his memory by organising a range of activities, including group participation in a Muddy 5k Challenge in October and a special fundraising evening in November, which raised £6480 in ticket and raffle sales. In total they have raised over £22,000 in George's memory, a phenomenal achievement. Thank you.

A huge thank you to everyone who organises and takes part in an event in aid of London's Air Ambulance. Your support means so much to us and the people we are here to support.
