Volunteer fundraising collectors

Volunteer fundraising collectors contribute to the fundraising effort of the charity and act as an ambassadors for the cause. This is a key, public facing role which helps us raise funds and raise awareness with the general public. Volunteers in this role should feel confident talking to members of the public about the charity and should be able to make themselves stand out in a busy location.

What will I be doing?

Our collectors fundraise for us at supermarkets, stations and events. Collections are pre-booked by the charity office and we will let you know when and where you need to be in advance of the collection. We will provide you with a branded t-shirt, bucket and ID badge.

Depending on the location, you may also have a small merchandise stall selling some of our London's Air Ambulance branded merchandise.

The time commitment for this role varies and depends on how many collections you decide to sign up for. Each collection shift is 3 hours but this can be longer or shorter depending on your availability.

SHOP VOLUNTEER

We are looking for committed volunteers who are able to help on a regular basis in our charity shop based at the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel.

Are you looking for retail experience? Or do you have time to make a regular commitment? If so then regularly supporting our work through working in our charity shop will make a huge difference to the charity. All funds raised through the shop will make a direct contribution towards the work of London's Air Ambulance.

Volunteers will need to commit to once per week, on a weekday between the hours of 9am and 5pm. Half day shifts may also be available.

COLLECTION POT COORDINATOR

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to support the work of London’s Air Ambulance in their local community.

Our collection pots raise tens of thousands of pounds each year for London’s Air Ambulance and we require the support of individuals to help us reach out to our current supporters and help us to build new relationships. We are seeking committed individuals to regularly place and collect our pots in local shops, pubs and other outlets. All funds raised will directly support the charity that delivers an advanced trauma team to critically injured people in London.

This role is flexible and can be based around your own availability.
