FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Following your application you will be invited to an informal interview to discuss our volunteering roles and your experience. This will be either in person at our offices or over the phone, depending your availability.
How often can I volunteer?
We have many opportunities for you to get involved in and can accommodate those who would like to volunteer on a regular basis as well as those who may wish to do something less frequently.
Will I meet new people?
Yes. Whether you are volunteering in our office, at events or in our shop you will be working alongside our staff and other volunteers to represent London's Air Ambulance so will have the opportunity to meet a variety of new people. You may also be promoting our work to members of the public.
Can I volunteer in my local area?
Yes. We have volunteering opportunities available across London and would welcome volunteers who would like to represent us in their local communities.
What support and training will I be given?
All volunteers will receive an induction to the work of the charity. We will also provide ongoing support to you during your time volunteering with us
Can I shadow the medical teams as a volunteer or for work experience?
No. We do not have any volunteering opportunities which allow you to work alongside our medical teams.
